If you have witnessed or been a victim of aggressive driving, you can call and report the incident to police.
Please call the following telephone numbers, depending on the situation:
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications
Center at 911 for emergency situations; or
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center at (303) 660-7500 for non-emergency situations; or
The Douglas County Traffic Complaint Line is (303) 660-7539.
The Sheriff’s Office will need the following information when you are reporting an aggressive driver:
- Description of the vehicle (year, make, model, color, license plate number).
- Description of the driver (sex, race, age, hair color, facial hair, height, weight).
- Location of incident.
- Location suspect last observed.
- Direction of travel.
- Were weapons involved?
- What happened?
- Were you a victim or witness?
