Boundaries: North boundary is just south of Highway 85; East boundary is Interstate 25; South Boundary is the El Paso county line or (South) County Line road; West boundary is the east boundary of the Pike National Forest.

Douglas County Emergency Management will determine on an as needed basis information that will be disseminated through the alert and warnings subscription service.
This system will only be used in situations requiring notification to the public of impending emergencies/disasters. This system will not be used as a tool for routine notification of impending severe weather or other routine information. The Office of Emergency Management will monitor all potential emergency situations within Douglas County and will, when deemed appropriate, make a decision to use of the emergency Alert System.
