Boundaries: North boundary is the south boundary of the City of Lonetree; East boundary is West Parker Road section line; South boundary is the north boundary of the Town of Castle Rock; West boundary is the west boundary of the Highlands Ranch Community Association's Open Space Park and section lines that extend south of this boundary.

Douglas County Emergency Management will determine on an as needed basis information that will be disseminated through the alert and warnings subscription service.
This system will only be used in situations requiring notification to the public of impending emergencies/disasters. This system will not be used as a tool for routine notification of impending severe weather or other routine information. The Office of Emergency Management will monitor all potential emergency situations within Douglas County and will, when deemed appropriate, make a decision to use of the emergency Alert System.
This service is not intended to repeat information disseminated by the National Weather Service or other commercial weather notification web sites and other media sources.
