The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation of a white male found in a vehicle on the east frontage road of I-25, South of Castle Rock.
On 01/06/10, at around 3:00 pm, dispatch received a call about a possible suicidal subject, near mile marker 174 on I-25. When deputies arrived on scene, they observed a white van with the flashers on, parked on the east frontage road near the Tomah Road exit. The body of a white male was found inside the van, with a gunshot wound.
The Douglas County Coroner has identified the male as William Driscoll, age 54 from Castle Rock. The official cause of death has not been determined at this time. The investigation is still open but at this time detectives do not suspect foul play.
