Douglas County Sheriff David A. Weaver thanks the Public and The Douglas County Search and Rescue Team for their assistance in locating a missing person.
Today on June 2 at approximately 4:00 p.m. the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team located a body in the area of Plum Valley Park in the 10200 Block of Westridge Village Parkway in Highlands Ranch. The deceased has not been positively identified; however it may be Debra Call Willis who has been missing from her Highlands Ranch residence for 12 days. Douglas County Sheriff’s Detectives are working in conjunction with Investigators and a Forensic Pathologist from the Douglas County Coroner’s office. The body has been removed from the scene and is being transported to the Douglas County Coroner’s Office where an autopsy will be performed late tomorrow afternoon. A positive identification and other information will be available after the autopsy.
