The purpose of Internal Affairs is to ensure the ongoing integrity of Douglas County Sheriff’s Office personnel through objective investigations into allegations of office personnel misconduct.
The Internal Affairs Section receives commendations and complaints. By acknowledging exceptional performance and commendable conduct, we promote ethical and professional behavior among our employees.
We thoroughly and objectively investigate allegations of employee misconduct. We strive to ensure that citizen concerns and complaints are taken seriously and a thorough and impartial investigation will be conducted.
