The Sheriff’s Office 35,000 square foot substation is located in the heart of Douglas County’s most populated area, Highlands Ranch, and houses holding cells, evidence storage, and fingerprinting. The Highlands Ranch Substation also has a meeting room which is used to for community meetings and to provide classes to the public. Many of our deputies dispatch out of here to make their response times faster.
- Public fingerprinting (Tuesday through Thursday only from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), records requests, payment of traffic tickets, sex offender lists and Concealed Handgun Permits.
- Sex offender registration is not available here. You must register at the main Sheriff’s Office in Castle Rock.
