The Technical Services Team provides a variety of functions for Dispatch, Patrol, Detentions, Investigations, and other divisions within the Sheriff’s Office. The team consists of one manager, four Support Technicians who rotate on-call duties and one Analyst who researches and analyzes technology hardware and software purchases for the entire Sheriff’s Office.
These functions include 24-hour support for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, server administration and maintenance, hardware and software inventory, user logins, permissions, passwords and security issues for over 400 employees. This often requires working after-hours to support the 24-hour operations in the Jail, Communications and other areas. The team also provides end-user training for the various software programs and hardware used at the Sheriff’s Office including:

This equipment is used to perform video advisements from courtrooms to the jail, as well as conduct patrol and investigations briefings from the Justice Center to the Lincoln Hills Substation.
