On 09/20/14 at about 11:30 am the Douglas County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call from two hikers who discovered a body in the area of mile marker 9 on Rampart Range Road (close proximity of the radio towers and Devils Head parking area.)
The Douglas County coroner identified the deceased as Christopher Jimenez, 23, of Castle Rock, CO.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has been conducting the death investigation and we are trying to determine a timeline and the circumstances of his having been in the area.
The investigation is on-going and the preliminary results do not indicate anything suspicious, however out of an abundance of caution we do need additional information related to the whereabouts of Christopher Jimenez from Wednesday September 17th to Saturday September 20th 2014.
