Four Career Criminals Convicted of Racketeering and Organized Crime.

Four Career Criminals Convicted of Racketeering and Organized Crime.

After a lengthy and detailed investigation, four individuals were convicted and sentenced for crimes associated with Racketeering and Organized Crime.

The investigation began in the early hours of November 24, 2020, when deputies observed a stolen 2017 Kia leaving the area of Castle Pines Parkway and Shoreham Drive at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stolen out of Denver. Deputies were able to stop-stick the vehicle, then discovered the Kia abandoned at I -25 and Orchard Road. The evidence recovered from the abandoned stolen car led to a massive investigation that identified four individuals who were involved in an extensive criminal enterprise involving stolen cars, vehicle trespasses, theft, identity theft, and numerous other charges.
The individuals were identified as Kevin Feathers, age 36, Daniel Satriano, age 37, Samantha Sauer, age 25, and Nicole Bachler, age 28. The investigation revealed that the four were responsible for 98 separate cases, beginning in early November 2019, out of Aurora, Denver, Arapahoe County, Arvada, Douglas County, the City of Lone Tree, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Broomfield, Erie, Boulder, Boulder County, and the City of Brighton.
During the investigation, detectives learned that the suspects would use stolen cars to break into cars and steal credit/debit cards and use those cards to purchase gift cards. The suspects would also take other items of value and try to sell them to make money off the stolen items. Some of the digital evidence recovered revealed that the suspects often mocked alerts warning people to secure their belongings, and documented their collective efforts to buy gift cards, how much cash they had, and the firearms they stole. This investigation was a collaborative effort with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Broomfield Police Department, and the 18th Judicial District, District Attorney’s Office. The four individuals plead guilty to the following charges:
