NARRATIVE: DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO – At approximately 5:30 p.m. on November 28, 2016 the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sex assault that occurred at Ponderosa High School, located at 7007 Bayou Gulch Rd., Parker, CO 80134.
Detectives interviewed the victim, a student at Ponderosa High School, and determined that there was enough probable cause to make an arrest of Douglas County School District Campus Security Specialist Gary Postell.
Postell, a 49 year old Castle Rock resident was immediately taken into custody at his residence and booked in the Douglas County Detentions Center on suspicion of Sex Assault on a child by one in a position of trust (CRS 18-3-405.3) and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
This is an open and active investigation; a booking photo will not be released at this time.
