NARRATIVE: DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO – This morning, a second suspect involved in the officer involved shooting which occurred on November 27, 2018 at Dry Creek Rd and I-25 was released from the hospital after being treated for his injuries and booked into the Douglas County Detention Facility. Jason Bradley Sutton (DOB 3/14/97), of Golden, was booked on charges of:
18-4-409 (3) (a.5) F4 1st Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft
18-1-603 F4 Complicity
18-4-205(2) F5 Possession of Burglary Tools
18-8-610(3) F6 Tampering with Physical Evidence
Sutton is being held on $100,000 bond.
The criminal investigation is still active and on-going. No additional information will be released at this time.
