NARRATIVE: DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO A male and female have been taken in custody after leading Douglas County deputies on an early morning chase after breaking into multiple cars as well as a burglarizing a garage in the Roxborough subdivision, in unincorporated Douglas County.

On July 24, 2020 at around 2:55 am, deputies responded to area of Dawn Dr in Littleton, (Roxborough subdivision) on report of two individuals walking down the street attempting to enter parked cars. As deputies were setting up a perimeter in the area, a black Ford Raptor was seen fleeing the area at high rate of speed, with no headlights on. “This is a perfect example of the message we want to send to the criminals out there; we will not allow you to come into our community and victimize our citizens. It is our job to catch those that are committing crimes, and we certainly did that”, stated Sheriff Tony Spurlock.
