Inmate Visitation

How does a video visit work?

Friends and family must create a Securus Online® account by either visiting www.videovisitanywhere.com or by using the Securus Mobile app available on both Apple and Google Play Stores. Visitors have the option between onsite and remote visitation when scheduling visits.

How do I schedule a visit?

Follow these steps:

  • Create a Securus Online® account here.
  • Enroll, schedule, and communicate using Securus Video Connect®
  • Technical requirements published by Securus Technologies, LLC are available here.
When can I visit?
  • Visits can be scheduled seven days a week between the following hours of: 09:45am – 02:15pm and 03:45pm – 08:15pm.
  • For security purposes, staff will not release information related to inmate activity/availability schedules, scheduled visits, or other visitors.
  • Visits start promptly at the scheduled time. Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. If you’re late, you may not be permitted entry to the visitation center.
  • All visits are subject to change for safety and security reasons.
  • There will not be any visits scheduled during meals or headcounts
  • Visitors have the opportunity to schedule onsite visits at no cost using your Securus Online® account. Onsite visits take place in our visitation center at the Justice Center in Caste Rock.
  • Visitors may schedule two 30-minute visits per day.
  • Visitors may join the visit session one minute prior to the visit’s scheduled start time.
How much does it cost?
  • Remote video visitation is 29 cents/minute, $8.70/30 minutes.
  • Remote and Onsite visits must be scheduled by logging into your Securus Online® account at www.videovisitanywhere.com, or by using the Securus Mobile app available on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
  • You must have created a Securus Online® account, enrolled in Securus Video Connect®, added our facility, and been approved by the facility for visitation prior to being able to schedule video visits with inmates.
  • Inmates are permitted two 30-minute visits per day unless their classification level or disciplinary status dictates otherwise.
  • For questions about your account, please contact Securus at 1-877-578-3658.

Inmates are responsible for communicating with friends and family as to when they are available for video visitation. The facility cannot share when a specific inmate is available for visitation. Given the volume of both onsite and remote visits, the inmate is responsible for checking their own visitation schedules. Facility staff do not inform inmates when visitors schedule personal visits. Visitors who choose to schedule visits without first communicating with the inmate as to when they are available are not likely to connect with the inmate. If this is the case, visitors can contact Securus to request a credit by completing their Credit Request Form and submitting it to Securus using one of the submission options available at the bottom of the form. Securus’s terms and conditions will dictate whether a visitor is eligible for a credit or refund, not the facility.

If you have additional questions, call 877-578-3658 and a Securus customer service representative will help you.

If you have questions for the jail, please call 303-814-7045.

What are the rules for visits?

Visits and phone calls will not be allowed during meals, lockdowns, and headcount.  Your loved one will be able to provide you with the times that this applies.  The visitation is recorded and may be monitored.  Visitation is a privilege and not a right and as such can be restricted or limited for violations of facility rules.  Unacceptable conduct by either the visitor or inmate will cause the visitation to be terminated immediately and may prevent you from being able to schedule or participate in any future visits.

There will be no refund/credit for any visits that were terminated for any violation of facility rules.
  • When visiting from the Justice Center no more than two visitors are allowed.
  • Adult visitors must have one of the following forms of identification:
    • State-issued driver’s license or ID card
    • Military ID
    • Passport
    • Any other government/consulate issued ID.
  • All visitors must be appropriately dressed.
  • Visitors must be at least eighteen years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Children may not be left in the Detentions Lobby without adult supervision.
  • If the visitor is a minor spouse of an inmate, they must provide proof of marriage and photo identification.
  • All visitors are subject to search prior to entering the visitation area.
  • The visitation may be monitored and is recorded.
  • All visitors, including attorneys and official visitors, must be fully dressed in appropriate, conventional clothing, which is not unduly provocative, suggestive, or revealing. (Some examples: mini dresses, skirts, low cut tops and short shorts including on remote visitation).
  • Appropriate undergarments are required but should not be visible.
  • No controversial/objectionable gang, obscene, drug and alcohol designs, messages, or profanity on clothing.
  • Shoes are required.
  • Cell phones are not permitted.
  • Visitors are not to wear hats into the visiting area, except for religious hats or headgear; sunglasses, gloves, scarves, or outer garments, such as hoodies, topcoats, raincoats, jackets, and similar inclement weather attire will not be permitted within the visiting area.
  • No offensive, loud or disruptive language will be allowed.
  • No visitor shall pose with any sexually suggestive item; perform in any sexually suggestive fashion; or perform any sexually suggestive or explicit acts.
  • No visitor shall commit/use/connect any “Three Way” or “Third Party” visitations.
  • No visitor shall use or communicate using any gang signs or hand gestures.
  • Unacceptable conduct will cause your visitation to be terminated immediately and may prevent you from being able to schedule future visits.
  • Visitors under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will not be permitted to visit. Violations may prevent you from scheduling future visits and/or subject to legal action.
  • Inmates that have been released within the past 30 days will not be allowed visitation with current inmates.
